Welcome to the Central Arizona Chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP). ACP is a professional organization that provides a forum for the exchange of experiences and information for business continuity leaders throughout a network of local Chapters.

Our chapter meetings are held every other month on the first Thursday in an in-person and virtual format unless otherwise noted. Meetings are 8:30 am for networking and 9:00 am - 11:00 am for business and presentations. We invite you to attend our next meeting and look forward to meeting you!”

BIOGRAPHY: Partner liaison and outreach coordinator. Acts as the primary liaison between the agency and local, state, tribal, and national government officials. Also responsible for directing storm spotter training and operations and is the primary contact for media inquiries, storm surveys, StormReady, and all outreach events.
MEETING TOPIC: National Weather Service - Be Ready For Heat & Monsoon 2025!
SUMMARY: Be prepared for the upcoming Heat and Monsoon season! The National Weather Service will provide an update on the current state of the climate of our region and how it plays into this year's expectations for the Heat and Monsoon Seasons.The presentation will be followed by a tour of the Phoenix National Weather Service Office.

Director of Emergency ManagementNorthern Arizona University Police DepartmentFlagstaff, Arizona, United States Closing on: Jul 15 2025 The NAU Director of Emergency Management is responsible for coordinating the university's emergency management operations including but not limited to: developing and updating activities related to the Campus Emergency Plan, assisting departments to establish emergency plans, training university personnel in emergency management, including mitigation, planning, response and recovery to support the NAU Emergency Operations Plans, and working with the NAU Emergency Management Advisory Group (EMAG). This position will report directly to the Northern Arizona University Police Department (NAUPD) Chief of Police. The individual works closely with local, county, state and federal officials on emergency management issues, training, coordination, and mutual aid.
